Thermo has two large SampleManager systems in Aramco at Dhahran and Abqaiq which were implemented in 1992. Since then, these systems have been under continuous support and maintenance and have been running latest versions of the software. This has considerably improved the way the laboratory is managed. Recently Dhahran system implemented the SAP link.
Thermo also implemented SampleManager at Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery (SAMREF) in Yanbu in 1999. Since then SAMREF has also been under maintenance and this year the system has been upgraded to the latest version of SampleManager.
 Over the
last 10 years, Thermo Scientific has had many successful SampleManager
implementations in the Middle East, a list of which is provided
below. All installations are in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sector.
